Food
I'm not a chef--I'm not even a great cook. I am a good cook who loves food and enjoys cooking.
For several years I worked from 4 to 10 at night, editing reports for immediate publication. When something came in, it had to go out ASAP. When I tried to prepare/eat dinner, inevitably I would be called away by the familiar ding my computer, calling me back NOW. This made dinner preparation tricky. So quick and/or make-in-advance recipes were a must. Planning menus for the week also helped.

I am always in search of realistic recipes for everyday cooking. Then I try to make them easier without sacrificing taste. Planning weekly menus helps me enjoy cooking more, and save time and money. I hope my recipe and menu suggestions will help you, too.

I'm aware that most sites with recipes have lots of pictures and videos. I'm not there yet. I'm working on it. Thanks for your patience!

Now if I can only remember/be fast enough to take pictures before the ravenous hordes (okay, two or three guys) descend.

Two ways to search for food ideas:

The easy life...
Life is hard. Don't make it harder.

That's my philosophy when it comes to cooking.
